One of the most annoying thing with the monsoon rains is when you are getting out of the shower and your towel smells of mushroom....

Getting in a rickshaw to find out that the seat is wet - hence, inevitably your ass will get wet - is also extremely annoying...

But rains are good for the economy so...

Yesterday, I switched on the TV and what was broadcasted?? Miss Universe 2010! Nice to watch. For 10 minutes.

So Miss France, Malika Ménard, ended up 13th.

 

Miss India, Ushoshi Sengupta, did not make it anywhere in the top 15 (among 83 contestants).

BUT! Only one Miss France was ever crowned Miss Universe and this quite some time back (in 53, one year after the creation of the competition). And India got 2 Miss Universe, in 1994 (Lara Dutta) and 2000 (Sushmita Sen). So...
