Horn Ok Please

If you have visited India, you have probably noticed on the back of taxis, rickshaws, trucs a painted "Horn OK Please":

The popular phrase 'Horn OK Please' seen behind almost all Indian trucks originated during World War II when trucks were run on kerosene. The unstable Kerosene would cause the trucks to explode at the slightest accident. Hence the warning "Horn O.K. Please" (O.K = "On Kerosene"). Now this has become a norm and is still seen on most trucks - just like many other meaningless traditions being followed blindly.
